Small groups make a difference

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
Around the world, there are many groups of committed people who are making sure wildlife have the space they need to survive and thrive. Please find a group to join so that you can be a part of their journey to help wildlife. If we all pull together, we can really power through change for the better. The more of us who help create, protect, care for and save existing and new spaces, the better, especially where people power and pressure is needed to bring about change by persuading governments and businesses that it's the right way forward. We hope this blog gives you lots of ideas of ways you can do just that. Thank you for coming to visit.
We need lots of little groups all striving to change things around the world.
Add these groups up, and we can make a big difference!
Take a look at the amazing work Bangalow Koalas are doing in Australia... Their mission is to restore habitat - 500,000 trees by 2025 - for koalas and other endangered wildlife. And, NEWS (8th June 2025)! They've just planted 450,000 trees with 161 plantings on 121 properties - thanks to landowners, volunteers, and supporters/donors - all people joining in the big effort to help! Well done everyone! See the video here!
Of course, some groups need to be bigger than others - such as the more people who can give rivers their support, the better! Please take a look at the #SpaceForWater campaign in the UK and give it your support! The more people - and bigger a group - the campaign can get, the better!
