I've started this page because I hope it gives you the chance to just enjoy nature and feel better for it! A lot of this page consists of videos I've come across which I wanted to share with you. I hope you enjoy it!

The Rottnest Island off the coast of Australia is home to a number of quokkas! They are an endangered species but conservation efforts on the island are going well, in large part because tourists want to come to the island to see them! See the report in the video to the left. Nature Australia tells us more about quokkas - and how to be around them if you want a selfie.

Beaver magic

I got the idea for this page from this video. There have been a few people sharing this and saying that studies show that watching a beaver eat cabbage lowers stress by 17%. I don't know about this survey, but watching the beaver tuck in certainly relaxed me! See if it helps reduce your stress levels too!

There's pandemonium on the slide

These pandas are discovering how to go up high and developing muscles and strength as they climb up to the top of the slide and then have the fun of sliding down. These pandas as at the Chengdu Panda Base in China. So adorable!

Puffins at sunset in Northumberland

Enjoy the National Trust's video of the puffins on Farne Island, Northumberland at sunset. The Trust suggest watching this in a quiet room and that you switch off devices that may disturb you. You don't have to watch the whole hour .... Just find some time to enjoy the scene!

How about the sounds of flowing water and birds chirping?

Nature Soundscapes have quite a number of lovely videos - fall asleep to the sound of flowing water, ocean waves, gentle wind, chirping birds, the African Savannah - take your pick! Sleep well!

Listen to Nature's Symphony

Nature's Symphony have a number of videos featuring bird song - without music! These are much shorter than the Nature Soundscapes ones.... so if you want to have a quick yet gentle blast of nature online, this could be a great channel to look at.

For lovers of the sea...

This Scenic Wildlife film features the animals that call the Ocean home, with Humpback whales, Dugongs & Manatees, dolphins, sea turtles and many more.

Swimming bears...

Take a look at this bear and the cubs enjoying a quiet dip in the swimming pool! Meantime, rescued bear Bubu, pictured in the video to the right, shows us there's nothing like a good splash about. Bubu is with Animals Asia in their Vietnam bear sanctuary.
