Saved for Nature in South America

Here are conservation projects which have been successfully completed to save land for nature in South America.  (You may find some countries which you deem to be Central America creeping in.)

The appeal to help purchase 642 acres of Barbacoas’ Forests and Wetlands in Columbia reached its £295,000 target in only a few weeks. This means that local conservation partner Fundacion Biodiversa Columbia can extend El Silencio Natural Reserve – a unique mosaic of habitats.  It will protect many threatened species.  Find out more here
